Microfluidics: streamlining discovery in worm biology: A recent paper in Nature Methods from the group of Adela Ben-Yakar at the UT-Austin describes how the combination of microfluidic technology with sophisticated methods in optics can produce new capabilities for worm biologists.

Adela Ben-Yakar, professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, is featured in an article in the December 2008 edition of Wired magazine and on the magazine’s Web site.
