Open Positions - Employment Opportunities

Several positions are available for gradute students and postdoctoral fellows in the following topics:  

  • Microfluidics: Develop microfluidic devices for high throughput surgery/imaging of C. elegans and cells for large scale drug discovery and genome wide screening of genes affecting nerve regeneration.
  • Femtosecond laser microsurgery: Develop novel methods and miniaturized optical probes for clinical surgery using MEMS, Photonics Crystal Fibers, etc. 
  • Multiphoton imaging: Develop novel methods to increase nonlinear imaging depth in tissue.
  • Plasmonic nanoparticles: To investigate the potential of gold nanoparticles for image contrast and high-throughput precise surgery of cells/tissue.  

The open positions are suitable for students with Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Physics backgrounds.
