I received my MS and Ph.D. from Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore, India in 2004 and 2008 respectively. During my Ph.D. I developed a miniaturized real-time DNA amplification device using non-contact heating and thermal sensor for portable applications. I was a visiting fellow at Neurobiology, National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore, India until 2012 and developed microfluidic devices for in-vivo imaging of organelle transport and distribution in C. elegans neurons.
I joined the FemtoLab at UT Austin in 2012 and am currently interested in developing microfluidic devices for high throughput drug screening for preventing neurodegenerative diseases and delaying natural ageing in C. elegans. |
