Ben Meekins

Ben Meekins / Solar Photocatalysis

Ben received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and his Master's and PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Notre Dame. His graduate research focused on transfer processes that influence photovoltaics and photocatalysis. He joined the Mullins group after a postdoc in Allen Bard's group at the University of Texas. Ben is now a faculty member at the University of South Carolina.

Asha Gupta

Asha Gupta / Battery Materials and Electrocatalysts

After completing her BSc in Chemistry from the University of Calcutta in 2004, Asha went on to recieve her MS and PhD (2010) as an Integrated PhD from the Chemical Sciences Division of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. While in Austin she worked on  Li-ion battery research in collaboration with Professor John Goodenough.  She is now back home in India.

Konda Shiva Reddy

Konda Shiva Reddy / Battery Electrode Materials and Safety

Shiva completed his M.S. in Chemistry from Osmania University, Hyderabad in 2008. He moved on to the Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore for his Ph.D. studies. Currently he is working on safety mechanisms relating to batteries in collaboration with Professor Adam Heller.

David Eisenberg

David Eisenberg / Porous and Highly Conductive Carbons

David received his BSc, MSc and PhD in Chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. He joined the groups of Prof. Adam Heller and Prof. Buddie Mullins after work in Israeli industry, and a 2-year postdoc with Prof. Allen Bard (as a Fulbright / Ilan Ramon Fellow) at the University of Texas at Austin.  David is now conducting further study in Amsterdam with Professor Gadi Rothenberg at the Universiteit de Amsterdam.
