Greg received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State in 2011. He held a National Science Foundation Fellowship while at UT-Austin. Greg is now in South America exploring.

Edward Evans

Edward Evans / Catalysis

Ed received a B.A. in Chemistry from Wabash College in May 2013. His interest in renewable energy brought him to the Mullins group during the following summer.  Ed held a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship while in Austin, defended his Ph.D. thesis in November 2018 and will formally graduate in May 2019.

Brad Ferguson

Brad Ferguson

Brad received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in December 1998 and his dissertation was entitled "Adsorption Kinetics and Dynamics in Si(100) Epitaxial Growth and Oxidation."  Brad then went to work for Cypress Semiconductor in Minneapolis and is still employed at Cypress where he is the Wafer Foundry Services Business Development Manager.

Tae Kim

Tae Kim / Surface Chemistry of Gold

Tae completed the Ph.D. in December 2005 and his dissertation was entitled "Molecular Beam Studies of Low Temperature CO Oxidation on Gold" after which he returned to Korea working for Samsung.

Steve Karseboom

Steve Karseboom / Surface Chemistry

Steve defended his Ph.D. dissertation in May 1997, which was entitled, "Mechanisms of Olefin Oxidation on the (111) Face of Iridium Under Ultra-High Vacuum Conditions," and then accepted a research position with Albemerle in Baton Rouge, LA.
