Murat Yildirim has been awarded a travel grant to attend Optical Society of America (OSA) Congressional Visits Day. The goal of this event is to educate members of Congress about the importance of the optics, photonics, the National Photonics Initiative (NPI) and sustained Research & Development funding. The event will take place March 25-26, 2014 in Washington D.C., just as Congress is considering funding for Fiscal 2015. Congratulations Murat!
