My research focuses on developing miniaturized endoscopic probes for imaging and ultrashort laser surgery using photonic crystal fibers and various laser scanning mechanisms. Specifically, I perform experiments to advance our understanding of ablation parameters of healthy and scarred vocal folds using various nonlinear imaging modalities such as two-photon fluorescence, second harmonic generation, and third harmonic generation microscopies.
