Research:

My research group in Biomedical Photonics at University of Gothenburg uses multiphoton microscopy techniques for studies of the penetration, distribution and activation of active compounds in skin and epithelial cells. The goal is to be able to understand the molecular and cellular processes involved in e.g. topical drug delivery, to improve prevention and treatment of skin cancer. The projects are part of the activities carried out within the Centre for Skin Research at the University of Gothenburg.
