Research:

My main concentration in the Ben-Yakar lab is the study of the genetic pathways involved in neuron regeneration after physical damage, for which we use the nematode C. elegans as a model organism. I also oversee worm maintenance in the lab and work closely with the students and scientists who are designing microfluidic devices for high throughput screens.
